Birds Rights are an integral component to the N.B.A.'s salary cap policy. Following a May 2012 lawsuit brought up by the N.B.A. Player's Association against the league, I wrote this piece explicating the rulings implications for the New York Knicks.
After reading Ta-Nehisi Coates's reaction to the death of former N.F.L. superstar Junior Seau, I wrote my own piece for The Bleacher Report with thoughts on the sport's future and a brief response to Coates's criticism of the league and football in general.
Just before graduating in May 2011, I wrote this, my senior column, a final goodbye to college and the Columbia Spectator.
